Hunt, who has been in jail since he pleaded guilty last January to planning the Water gate burglary, said today that the main reason he had been hired by Mr. Colson had nothing to add to that statement. Colson denied last May that he had ordered Hunt to forge the cables, stating, how ever, that Hunt might have “misunderstood something I said to him.” Hunt's lawyer, David I.
